KUCHING: Sarawakians have strong unity
making the state a model state for many to follow.
This was said by Chairman of Padawan
Municipal Council (MPP), Lo Khere Chiang in his speech at the closing ceremony
of the Stampin parliamentary constituency’s 1Malaysia Community Programme held
at RPR Batu Kawah Unity Hall here yesterday.
Lo said the programme was held
simultaneously in four other parliamentary constituencies to further strengthen
unity of the people through traditional games, aerobics, exhibition and more.
The four other parliamentary
constituencies were Santubong, Petra
Jaya, Kuching and Puncak Borneo.
He also said Sarawakians are better united
thanks to the fair and intelligent leadership of the current Chief Minister
Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Haji Adenan Satem.
“Adenan has done a lot for the well-being
of Sarawakians. These policies will benefit all in the long run. That is why we
should continue to give him our support in the coming state election,” said Lo
who was also recently named as the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for Batu
Kitang state constituency.
