Study well, respect the elders, students told 

 

KUCHING: BN-SUPP Batu Kitang candidate Lo Khere Chiang yesterday called on the top students from Kwong Wai Siew Association to continue doing well in their studies as they are the future leaders of the country.

Lo, who officiated at an awards presentation ceremony, also urged the students not to forget respecting or honouring the elders especially their parents and teachers.  

He pointed out it was through the hard works of the parents who put them through schools that they could have a good foundation for a successful life in future.

The teachers, he added, taught them things they needed to learn not only academically but also the social skills of life.

Lo also thanked the association for inviting him to the function which was held at the association’s premises in Jalan Ang Cheng Ho here.
