Forum meant for Batu Kitang youths

KUCHING: Barisan Nasional candidate for Batu Kitang Lo Khere Chiang is calling Batu Kitang youths to attend a forum entitled ‘Think Future’ on this coming 26 April at the open space at Trinity hub at 3 and half mile (old bus stop), here.

Lo is inviting them to have a discussion and share their views and aspirations for a better future of Batu Kitang.

Making the call to the youths aged between 25 and 45, Lo said the purpose of the forum would be for the youths to interact, share resources and forge meaningful friendships.

“It is also a way to engage with the working youths and to get them to have a sense of belonging in the community through their views on what they aim for in their future. Through this, we can work together to bring Batu Kitang to greater heights for them,” he added.

“The youths are our future leaders and Sarawak’s future belong to them. Thus, it is important that I hear it first-hand how the youths want Batu Kitang to grow for them and their children,” he pointed out.

Topics to be discussed include ‘Re-think the current job industry in Sarawak’ and ‘Low / middle income Youths’ concerns’.

For those who do not want to miss a chance to chart your own future by sharing your point of views, please do register your attendance with our Google forms:http://goo.gl/forms/qVRNZhxbZu.

Meanwhile, Lo has placed his operation centre nearby a former car wash centre.

Lo said the place (opposite Mita bread house) at Mile 4 is conducive for people to come and seek help.

The operation centre is open from 9.00am to 8.00pm.

“We will deal with all problems faced by the people in the best way we can,” he said.
