Lo: look into welfare of kindergarten teachers

 Batu Kitang State Assemblyman, Lo Khere Chiang called on the  Board of Directors to look into the kindergarten school teachers’ salary as despite being in the low income group, they have a lot in term of taking care of school children at a tender age.

Lo who was also the Padawan Municipal Council Chairman, celebrating Gawai and Teacher’s Day with the Tadika Dewan Perniagaan Batu 7, said a reasonable allowance would help to take care of the welfare of the kindergarten school children.

The school board, teachers and parents join in the celebration of the Gawai.

Pointing out that it was a good way to promote racial harmony among all the races, Lo praised the school for such celebration and urged them to allow children to learn the three languages of English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia for them to be able to communicate and mingle more with each other.
