In Taman Flora Indah community, we are blessed that the residents committee are very active. Our community garden are being well maintained by the residents themselves.
Only with combined efforts then we can collectively look after this beautiful community garden. With initiatives from the constituents, we are able to bring improvements and perks of having a garden within distance from their residential. Enabling residents to mingle and know one another, which is indeed a joy this Christmas season.
Organising this community Christmas Celebration all on their own initiative, we supported the event by providing the canopy, chairs, tables and the rest were covered by the residents. Each and everyone bought a dish for the Christmas potluck, so filled with warmth and love.
Being able to participate in this very special community Christmas party brings excitement to the highest, although it’s not exactly a fancy party but it’s definitely better than that as it’s a lovely party filled with joy, harmony and love.
May I ask you all to remember your neighbours at this time of year, especially the elderly and those who live alone. As a community, we must stay close knitted and support each other.
In this Christmas, we need a new vision of society as one extended family, a single community of persons committed to one another by obligations of love and respect. To love means to give and receive that which can neither be bought nor sold, neither earned nor stolen.
Our close knitted community are beyond any exchange of gifts. It must be developed in terms of burdens shared, and a deep generosity of heart.
Merry Christmas once again to Everyone!
