When rainfall exceeds 3 and 1/2 inches, Jalan Taman Hin Yu can become flooded because the water level in the drain becomes higher than the road elevation, thus flood mitigation is very important to the community affected.
The flood mitigation project at Jalan Taman Hin Yu will be kicking off soon according to proposed plan of mid August, the project will be proceeding in smooth ordinance.
This project was determined to be the part solution to the flooding problem in Jalan Taman Hin Yu costing about Rm100,000.
