KUCHING: SUPP’s first official political talk for the parliamentary election attracted a sizeable crowd at Trinity Hub on Sunday.
The evening kicked off with a Zumba session to hype up the crowd while waiting for the seats to be filled up, followed by an appearance by the party’s bee mascot.
Children who accompanied their parents to the gathering were given free balloons.
Among the speakers who took to the stage were SUPP president Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian, who is Stampin candidate, Bandar Kuching candidate Kho Teck Wan, Amy Tnay, Milton Foo and SUPP youth central chairman Michael Tiang.
During the talk, supporters clapped loudly and whistled in support as the speakers delivered their message.
The fine weather also encouraged more people to drop by, adding to the size of the crowd.
