KUCHING: Batu Kitang Assemblyman, Lo Khere Chiang spent his early morning yesterday at Kota Padawan and Kota Sentosa police stations near here to deliver ‘sahur meals’ to police personnel on
duty at the two stations.
Going as early as 2.30 am yesterday, Lo said the early morning breakfast was crucial for those who
observe fasting so that they can maintain a balanced intake of nutrients and have energy to work the
whole day before breaking their fast in the evening.
Lo also took the opportunity to get to the know police personnel at two stations and an insight into how they work.
“It was a good learning experience for me. It is also an opportunity for Sarawakians, especially non- Muslims to break fast with their Muslims friends because over here everyone respects another’s religion and culture,” he said.
