PUSAT Khidmat Batu Kitang menawarkan pelbagai kursus bagi memperkasakan golongan wanita di konstituensi Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Batu Kitang di Kuching.

Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Batu Kitang Lo Khere Chiang berkata, pihaknya telah merancang lebih banyak program dan aktiviti yang positif untuk masyarakat di kawasan ini.

“Pusat khidmat ini disediakan bagi memberi peluang kepada semua golongan masyarakat mendapat manfaat daripada susun atur aktiviti, program dan bengkel yang lebih banyak kita adakan selepas ini,” katanya ketika ditemui di ‘Personal Makeup Workshop’yang diadakan di Pusat Khidmat Batu Kitang, baru-baru ini.

Lo turut menyatakan harapan beliau untuk melihat lebih ramai masyarakat tampil menyertai setiap program yang dilaksanakan pihaknya selepas ini.

Program Batu Kitang Free Zumba akan diadakan pada 4 April ini bermula jam 7.30 sehingga 9 pagi dan pada 8 April bermula jam 10 pagi sehingga 1 petang akan diadakan Soap Making Basic Workshop.
Baru-baru ini telah diadakan Personal Makeup Workshop yang merupakan bengkel kedua dan memanfaatkan sekitar 50 wanita di Kampung Semeba, Bau.

Tegas beliau, aktiviti seperti ini berupaya mempromosikan perpaduan dan harmoni dalam kalangan wanita konstituensi Batu Kitang, membina peluang melalui jalinan sosial dan memperkasakan wanita dengan pengetahuan asas dandanan diri.

Ia juga bagi memberi pendedahan dan membina keyakinan diri yang positif golongan wanita di sini.

“Berdandan bukan sahaja dilihat daripada luaran tetapi ia turut menampakkan kecantikan daripada pembawaan diri seseorang wanita berkenaan,” tegasnya lagi.

Pihak Pusat Khidmat Batu Kitang mengenakan caj bayaran hanya RM10 kepada para peserta dan semua peralatan serta jamuan ringan turut disediakan.

Bengkel yang diketuai pengajar kanan dandanan yang juga Pembantu Peribadi ADUN Batu Kitang, Mick Nah Wai Murn itu telah dirasmikan oleh Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri.

Seramai 50 wanita daripada ranting PBB Batu Kitang telah menghadiri bengkel tersebut dan diberikan sijil penyertaan masing-masing.

巴达旺市议会获ISO认证 罗克强：服务质量显著提升

（本报古晋23日讯）巴达旺市议会已经完成了国际标准化组织ISO9001:2015的认证。

该议会主席罗克强认为，随着国际标准化组织（ISO）和平衡打分系统的实施，标准操作规程(SOP)和目标的制定，市议会在服务质量上有了显着的提高。

他昨晚在该市议会晚宴上致词时强调，随着市议会的流程得到进一步的改进，民众就可以保证有一致性的高质量的服务。

也是巴都吉当区州议员的罗克强表示，无可否认的，每个人都必须比以前更加努力地工作，以维持服务的质量，提高人民的生活水平。

他指出，在议会的日常事务中，难免会接到公众的投诉，尤其是现今随着科技的进步，公众对科技的了解越来越多，这也变得更加具有挑战性。

他也透露，去年，巴达旺市议会成功实施了225项计划，斥资4600万令吉。这也是该议会历来最大的拨款，也是他们应该引以为荣的事情。所落实在项目许多是在乡村地区。

许多重大的基础设施建设，改善了辖区人民的生活素质。此外，许多城郊区的道路已铺上滤清，也安装了许多路灯。

另一方面，罗克强坦言，在朝向世界级公务员的目标方面仍有许多工作要努力，不过，他深信市议会的作业比以前更有系统，同时也得到了当局的认可。

他说，在去年的公务员日庆典上，巴达旺市议会荣获管理客户比赛冠军。与此同时，该议会也荣获砂首长素质奖第三名。

他强调，这些成绝非偶然，而是通过系统化的工作流程和市议会团队所有工作人员共同努力的结果。

与此同时，他披露，去年，巴达旺市议会成功收取89%的门牌税，希望今年能打破这一记录，收取比去年更多的门牌税。

他表示，为达致巴达旺市议会的使命，即通过提供高效的市政服务来提高生活质量，议会在2017年为贫困人口修复了23间房屋。这是议会对某种和纳税人的承诺与决心。

KUCHING: RM46 million were allocated to more than 240 projects in Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) area last year and this year MPP has approved the provision of RM13.3 million for 41 projects.

“I am very happy to say that we are moving ahead again. We now have approved the provision of RM13.3 million for 41 projects which have been approved and being implemented,” said Chairman of MPP, Ir Lo Khere Chiang to reporters after MPP full council meeting here yesterday.

Lo, who is also Batu Kitang State Assemblyman added that the council has been reaching its key performance indicator (KPI) by delivering projects to the people.

He also revealed that MPP has received a letter from the Chief Minister commending the council for its street lighting project under phase 1 which has been done and urging the council to continue with the project along Jalan Landeh up to Kampung Betong.

The names of the villages along 4KM include Kampung Paya Mebi, Kampung Sebuak, Kampung Datuk Landeh and Kampung Betong.

“I would like to personally thank the Chief Minister for his concern and for looking after Batu Kitang constituency,” said Lo.

He disclosed that the council has instructed SESCO to carry out the project as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Lo informed that the flood mitigation project for Jalan Burung Lilin and Jalan Dogan costing about RM3 million would continue this year.

He added that there was another flood mitigation project costing RM3.43 million along Jalan Datuk Tawi Sli which would be implemented by JKR (Jabatan Kerja Raya).

“I would like to inform the Batu Kitang residents that these projects have been planned and will materialise this year,” emphasised Lo.

Personal Makeup Workshop conducted by N13 Batu Kitang Community Center

This Personal Makeup Workshop conducted by N13 Batu Kitang Community Center is to promote unity and harmony among the constituency ladies and also to empower the woman of Batu Kitang with proper basic knowledge of Self Grooming. 

Our 1st Makeup Workshop in Batu Kitang, last year in Kpg Semeba was for 50 Kpg ladies as well. 

Now with this community space in N13 Pusat Khidmat, I want to bring the constituency closer and also fill their lives with more positive and empowering community activities.

Through our workshops in N13 Batu Kitang Community Center, we want to stimulate more discussions, create awareness and impact the lives of our constituents as a community, as a big family. And to engage our large and growing population in Batu Kitang through community advocacy, empowerment activities and civic engagements. 

Besides makeup empowers a woman to present herself in exactly the way she chooses. She is the one deciding, which contributes to her self-esteem, makeup is a confidence builder.

Makeup doesn’t just transform you on the outside. It transforms you from within, filling you with a sense of empowerment and strength, and that’s a beautiful thing. 

We hope to conduct more workshops and have consistent positive activities in the near future. A community space like this is a very useful way to engage people of all levels of capability. 

Community Center are common space for people of all races to come together, build friendships and promote social bonding and importantly, it connects the constituents and myself.

I hope to see more constituents coming forward to participate in our community Center Workshops and activities. 

Don’t be shy, just let loose, relax, enjoy the workshops and engage with your fellow community friends.
