KUCHING: Kpg Tematu has received a total
allocation of RM308,000 through a Minor Rural Project (MRP) and Rural
Transformation Project (RTP) funds.
The allocation under RTP is RM100,000 for
the upgrading of a multi-purpose hall and RM200,000 for the improvement of a
road and drainage system in the village.
The upgrading of the hall involved the
construction of a new kitchen and a washroom.
Meanwhile, the allocation under MRP are
RM5,000 for St. John Church and RM3,000 for
the Village Community Committee (JKKK) to
finance their yearly activities.
The allocations were announced by Batu
Kitang assemblyman Lo Khere Chiang at a barbecue held
in conjunction with an Easter Sunday
celebration at Kpg Tematu multi-purpose hall yesterday.
The barbecue was organised by Kpg Tematu
multi-purpose hall recreation club.
