The decision to appoint the deputy chairman of Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) has not yet been decided and is left to the Chief Minister Tan Sri Datuk Amar Haji Adenan Satem to make.

MPP chairman Lo Khere Chiang said the matter had not been discussed yet and would be left to the decision of the Chief Minister.

Lo revealed this to the media after he led a delegation of about 30 MPP officers on a courtesy visit to the Chief Minister at his office at Wisma Bapa Malaysia here, yesterday.

According to Lo, the purpose of the visit was to brief the Chief Minister on the progress and the latest development in the Padawan Municipal Council.

The delegation also took the opportunity to congratulate Adenan on his appointment as the fifth Chief Minister of Sarawak.

He said MPP would give full support to Adenan and promise to work hard to serve the community.

Lo pointed out that all of the MPP officers and staff admire Adenan’s leadership and believed he would be able to continue the development process of the state.
