Multiracialism in Sarawak
Lo said the Malay councillors led by Dr. Zaedi and the Bidayu councillor shared the happy occasion with the Chinese at the temple.
He said Sarawak is truely a unity state and they do not only talk about unity but practise it.
Lo pointed out that likewise in a mosque function, all the non Muslims would gathered together to share any joyful festival and also during the Church function.
“During Chinese new year, Gawai, Hari Raya, Christmas, we all visit one another irrespective of race and religion. This is really Sarawak for you,” he added.
