A café for pet lovers

KUCHING: Pet lovers here can now bring
their beloved pets to visit the Pet Station Café to have meal together while
enjoying the serene and green atmosphere of the cafe.
Chairman of Padawan Municipal Council, Lo
Khere Chiang said he believed the cafe would be a very good place for pet
lovers to dine in together with their pets.
“Most of the pet owners prepare canned food
for their pets since there are not many alternatives for them to choose from,”
he said during the grand opening of Pet Station Cafe in Jalan Sungai Moyan,
Batu Kawa Kuching on Sunday.
He added that the café is the perfect venue
for pet lovers who wish to celebrate their pet’s birthday since it is specially
designed and catered to their needs.
“With the increase number of pet lovers in
Kuching, I believe there will be more cafés such as this one opening in this
city,” said Lo.
He also urged all pet owners to take good
care of their pets by providing shelter and food and not to abandon them
especially when they are sick or old.
Pet Station Café is owned by Leslie Yap and
Christina Chua who believe in providing a pet – friendly environment to their
customers who are also pet lovers.
The café offers various local and western
cuisines and it is opened daily except Tuesday from 6.00pm to 11.00pm.
