Glabal Education Network (GEN) Education Hub at the Borneo House in Mile 7
Jalan Penrissen here.
In his speech Lo lauded the launch of the

70,000 square feet building.
The institutions will include the
universities, colleges and schools from the UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand,
Malaysia, Singapore, Europe, China, Korea, Taiwan, and Indonesia.
Lo stressed this was good development as it
would help in the development of good human resources which was critical in the
development of the State. Good education, he pointed out, could transform a
person to be a quality human resource.
Meanwhile, GEN Education Group CEO/Founder
Dato’ Joseph Hii in his speech earlier said the Hub was to serve as a one-stop
platform for tertiary education, connecting and combining the three main
stakeholders, namely, all students and parents, universities and colleges
around the world and the industry players who are the employers.
He said the Group, a tertiary education
specialist, was established ten years ago in Kuala Lumpur and now is here to
serve the local community.
Meanwhile, GEN Education Hub will serve as
the main platform for students to search and compare the various higher
education institutions in terms of programmes, tuition fees, living costs,
campus facilities, demographic information, graduate opportunities, and many
more. Industry players and practitioners will be brought into GEN Hub also, to
give students more in-depth information and updates.
GEN also offers professional student
services in the following areas: courses and career counseling, study abroad
advice, student visa application as well as getting admitted into universities
and colleges worldwide.
Apart from the conventional services, GEN
Hub is also offering various edutainment facilities such as course library,
digital experience hub, cafe, bookstores, seminar rooms and travel agencies in
the Hub. It will be an integrated one-stop tertiary education information
centre where students and parents alike can find all information they need to
know about further and higher education – all in one place and on daily basis.
